Filipino fighter Edward "The Ferocious" Kelly put together an exciting performance as he defeated Dutch-Indonesian opponent Vincent Latoel via knockout in the second round of their ONE: Titles and Titans co-main event bout.
Kelly, a native of Baguio City, outworked a strong, experienced opponent in Latoel, known as "MagniVincent," at the Jakarta Convention Center on Saturday night.
He needed less than three rounds to win via a devastating knockout in the co-main event, after trading wild strikes with Latoel.
Latoel, who had the advantage in the clinch, missed a combination against the fence, and Kelly seized the opportunity, countering a vicious right hook that dropped his foe to the canvas.

Another Filipino, Burn Soriano, also registered a victory earlier in the fight card as he knocked out Indonesia's Mario Satya Wirawan in a featherweight bout.
After Wirawan whiffed on a combination, Soriano spun and landed a spinning back fist flush on his opponent's chin. With Wirawan out on the mat, Soriano landed a couple of hammer fists to seal the deal.
In the main event, Luis "Sapo" Santos of Brazil overcame a furious rally at the end of the fight by ONE Middleweight World champion Igor "Lionheart" Svirid of Kazakhstan to win by unanimous decision.
Both fighters started off the bout cautiously in the first two rounds, carefully gauging each other’s range and occasionally unleashing well-placed strikes. Action picked up in the third round when Santos was able to take Svirid to the mat and work on ground-and-pound.
Towards the end of the bout, Svirid had his moments in top control, nearly finishing Santos with a series of powerful blows, but it proved insufficient to earn the judges’ nod.
