Lauren and James were born in the same year to different moms, and they're close, as they are with their other siblings.
James has been very supportive of Lauren entering showbiz, posting a photo of her on Instagram in June, saying, "Look out for the new it girl."
On James
"It's really flattering and I don't know if I totally agree with it, but the way I see an 'it girl' is someone who's relevant and in-the-now, and I believe that that's true, I'm here at the moment, so I'll take that," she said.
Earlier, she agreed that James opened up doors for her. "I'm tied to the family name, which is definitely one thing. And James did in a way present me on his Instagram, so. And it's nothing that I would regret anyway, it's... I'm thankful for it."
Lauren is close to James' reel-to-real life girlfriend Nadine Lustre, too.
She went along with them on their 'JaDine High on Love' tour and Lauren told the press at the Preview website launch on September 14 that Nadine is her closest friend here in the Philippines. They even share clothes sometimes!
Lauren has been training to dance with celebrity choreographers G-Force. Check out some of her moves below!

Lauren has also been featured in magazines and newspapers but she has set her sights on hosting. She's even taking some workshops to get better at it.
Lauren's working on improving her Filipino.
Because Lauren spent most of her life in Australia, she's not too fluent in Filipino. She took a few classes, but now she's trying to work it out on her own by having conversations in Filipino and watching teleseryes.

She was born in Caloocan in 1993 and studied business, legal studies, art, tourism, and more in Australia. She was working a corporate job in Australia before moving back to the Philippines to be closer to her dad.
Lauren was going to go the corporate route in the Philippines too, but decided to grab the opportunity to enter showbiz instead.
Lauren is very laid-back and it reflects in her style.
"I'm confident in what I wear because I'm comfortable," said Lauren to the press on September 14, saying that her style tip is to just wear things you'll be comfy in.

"Because he wears the same thing almost every single day," Lauren explained, saying she knew full-well that the choice was a little left-field.
"The idealistic mindset behind wearing the same thing everyday is that they have more time to thing about the more important things during the day," she explained further, saying she can appreciate that, since it means more productivity.
She's already had her fair share of bashers, but she takes it in stride – it's something that comes with the job.

Lauren's taking James' advice to her to heart: "Be yourself, enjoy what you do, ignore any negativity that comes your way, because it's not important, and be true to yourself."
