Senators Richard Gordon and Leila de Lima on Monday got into a heated discussion about self-confessed hitman Edgar Matobato's credibility, after the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) revealed that Matobato has been charged with kidnapping.
Gordon said De Lima, who admitted that she has information about the said charge, should have informed the committee about Matobato's case.
He also asked why Matobato was allowed to leave the venue even when the Senate inquiry has yet to be suspended.
