MANILA - Hours after President Rodrigo Duterte's declaration that all positions for presidential appointees will be made vacant to address the problem of corruption in government offices, Land Transportation Office (LTO) chief Ed Galvante told ABS-CBN News that he will comply with the President's instructions. </div>

Galvante said he did not directly hear the President's words but was informed of what he said in a press conference early Sunday. </div>

"I will comply. 'Yun ang hingi ng Pangulo, I will comply," he said. </div>

During the press conference, President Duterte revealed reports of corruption in regulatory office, with particular mention of the LTO and the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB). </div>

Galvante said there is nothing vague with the President's orders. "Kailangan naman bigyan ng pagkakataon na kung mayroong mas makakagawa ng mas mabilis at mas mabuti. 'Yun lang po," he said.</div>
