COTABATO CITY – A retired police chief inspector, identified as Wales Kasuyo, died of cardiac arrest on Sunday morning after watching Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire lose in his WBO super bantamweight title defense against Jessie Magdaleno.</h2>

The 62-year-old Kasuyo, a boxing fanatic, suddenly fell down after suffering from chest pains, just a few minutes after Donaire lost the bout via unanimous decision, around 11:00 a.m, according to his wife Lilian.<br />
<br />
Kasuyo had been under treatment and taking maintenance medicine for hypertension since 2010.<br />
<br />
The Kasuyo family said they have already accepted the fate of Wales, believing it is the will of God. <br />
<br />
The remains of Kasuyo were laid to rest in Nuling, Sultan Kudarat in Maguindanao at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, according to Muslim tradition. <br />
<br />
Meanwhile, two fans of Filipino ring legend Manny Pacquiao died while the "Pacman" was fighting Jessie Vargas.<br />
<br />
One man, who has yet to be identified, fainted inside a gym while watching the bout and was declared dead on arrival at a local hospital. <br />
<br />
Another still unidentified fan was also declared dead on arrival.<br />
